Call for Special Session Proposals

Aim of the special sessions

DTTIS 2024 seeks proposals for Special Sessions. These should aim at providing a complementary experience with respect to the regular sessions by focusing on hot and emerging topics of interest to the DTTIS community (Edge AI, Security, In-Memory Computing, Reliability aspects in Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Flexible electronics, etc.). A special session can consist of a set of individual presentations or a panel. Participation of experts from the industry is welcome and encouraged.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit Special Session proposals by preparing a manuscript that should include: a title, an abstract outlining the scope of the session, name, contact information and short biography of the Special Session organizer.

For individual presentations, proposal must include the complete list of the three contributed presentations (including titles, presenter names, contact information of the corresponding presenter, and an abstract of each contribution).

For panels, proposal must include a list of three to five panelists and their area of expertise.

Proposal submissions should be presented in a single PDF through the submission portal

By means of their submission, all presenters agree to register for and participate to DTTIS 2024, in case their special session proposal is accepted.

Submission deadline for Special Sessions proposal: 31st of May 2024
